Our mandate is to empower young adults with developmental disabilities for independent living. Our organization has two goals one to build skills and second to build awareness among our individuals.
SafeForce
​​​SafeForce is an initiative for young adults with developmental disabilities to equip them with safety skills and self-defence training. Participants learn how to recognize unsafe situations, set healthy boundaries, understand their rights, and speak up with confidence. The training also includes hands-on, accessible self-defence techniques to build body awareness, safety skills, and personal confidence.
EmpowerED
Resilient Hearts is building a virtual platform, EmpowerED, which will provide real-world learning experiences for individuals with developmental disabilities. This wholistic platform will allow participants to gain essential life skills for independent living. This interactive app will also build community connections by connecting peers with similar experiences for fostering friendships.​
